Deck Building Submission & Advice

You can submit a deck-list to us to check if it's viable for the format/tournament BEFORE signing up if you wish! (We think this is a good idea! Read on below!)

To submit your deck list for an event, please email an online deck list link from a website like Archidekt, Moxfield, ManaBox (phone app) or similar to us at:

ContactCommandCrash@gmail.com

That's it!

We will send the list to the judging panel, and we will email you back to confirm or deny acceptance.

(if you cannot do this, or struggle, please email us, we are glad to help!)

DENY ACCEPTANCE? Yes! We do not accept decks that are judged to be Bracket 4-5 level (Classic CEDH style/viable etc, not just top 16 Bracket 5 TEDH Meta, but CEDH style/viable). PLEASE SEE MORE BELOW.

Decks can be  submitted before OR after securing your place by paying into the Prize Pot on the Register page.

Please note though that only paying into the prize pot secures your event slot, NOT submitting the deck list.

Please also note, if you pay into the prize pot, and cannot submit a deck viable for Bracket 2-3 format (+ following Command Crash rules (please see rule book) entry will not be accepted. (PLEASE READ BELOW TO CHECK FOR 2 CARD INFINITE COMBOS)

Please submit your deck list as early as you can, just incase your deck is not accepted or needs to be swapped or adjusted.

The judging team/participant may offer that adjustments for acceptance could be made to a non-accepted deck-list (removal of certain cards etc) but this is not guaranteed.

Command Crash reserve all rights to accept or deny Deck Lists into the tournament/format. We require deck list submission & acceptance in order to preserve the power level of the meta/format.

Other competitors will not see your deck list before the event.

Deck Building Advice

Welcome to Command Crash! This is a Casual Commander Competition!

Which is unique and makes the RULES unique too! We are the FIRST of our kind!

A NON CEDH (B:5) Tournament Structure!

We require Decks to be submitted and Accepted, in order to protect the Meta/Power Level of Events.

This is a BRACKET 2-3 style Tournament. Bracket 3 is classified as "Upgraded". Bracket 2 is classified "Core/Regular"/"Pre-Con" strength. (please see rule book)

All brackets have blurred lines and unknown edges, we understand, which is why we have a judging panel who review decks based on their speed/power/oppression level, to check if they will fall within the meta/format power level overall, and also within Bracket 2 rules/guidelines as set out by WOTC and the Commander Format Panel.

Decks are strong of course! But not overly oppressive and not necessarily tuned for MAXIMUM speed.

This is not a CEDH minus Game Changers event. This is Bracket 3 Mid Range warfare.

Decks usually aim to win between turns 6-10 on average, and usually follow the standard Commander Building Template.

Why Bracket 2 then? To further attempt to hold steady the power level of the tournaments, also banned are:

Fast Mana (Sol Ring + Mana Rocks that produce more mana than they cost), ALL Game Changers, Powerful Tutors such as (Demonic Consultation) & more. (please see rule book)

So the DECKS will be Bracket 3 STRENGTH. But we follow an extended Bracket 2 STYLE ruleset with the banning of Game Changers, Fast Mana & 2 Card Infinites etc.

PLEASE: To check if you have 2 Card Infinite Combo's (not allowed in bracket 5) visit:

https://commanderspellbook.com/find-my-combos/
and paste your deck-list link from Moxfield or Archidekt. This will check if you have 2 card infinite combos. Please understand decks with 2 card infinite combos CANNOT be accepted under the rules & regulations. Please adjust decks to not contain these. Thank you!

If this all sounds confusing! It isn't! If you are a regular Commander Player,  maybe you play kitchen table with a friend-pod, or maybe at the LGS/FNM, maybe you know a thing or two & like good games, this is the tournament for you!

Check your decks! Decks suitable for our tournament will be VERY UNLIKELY to be running Fast Mana (except Sol Ring) anyway, and maybe you have a few Game Changers, sure, don't we all 😉

Swap your Sol Ring & Game Changers for more mid-range-level similar or synergy pieces, and come get locked into some flavorful warfare.

Come play! Have fun! Win prizes!

Casual bracket 2-3 games BUT with Game Changers banned 😈. This is kitchen table battles like you love, but with new opponents & prizes!

Choose a strong deck you enjoy and come down to play! This is a chance to show off the Commanders & Decks that can't hang at Bracket 5, but still have style and strength to show off and show down 🤜🤛

Swap your Game Changers for other synergy pieces, and swap your Sol Ring for a different mana rock or similar. Easy & done! Submit your deck list & secure your place!
